Lola is a 5-year-old American Pitbull in Hampton , VA, who needs $2,000 for TPLO Repair for CCL Injury.

Lola came into my life in November of 2017 as a rescue. Lola has a brother who was adopted in April of 2017. Her brothers name is Bruno and they are best friends. They have toy boxes in every room of the house as well as dog beds. They are inside dogs only and as a newly single person they complete my life . I definitely spoil them as I should! They are my babies.

Lola and her brother sleep in the bedroom with me every night. They love any and all fuzzy blankets and soft beds. Lola also loves to go on walks around the neighborhood and she loves to sun bath out in our fenced in backyard. She also loves any and all food and treats as she is a food driven dog. She and I have a special bond and it truly is like nothing I have ever had with any other dog.

Lola and I are inseparable. I have ADHD and sever anxiety disorder and o can not regulate my emotions or thoughts and when I get over stimulated Lola just comes and sits beside me or in my lap and I call it the pitty smile because I believe that pitbulls have a special way of smiling. Lola always made me feel like what ever is or was going on didn’t matter or would be okay. She is my ESA.

She fell off my back porch steps in the rain once night about a month and a half ago and I heard her cry and ran to let her in and she came in limping. I looked at her leg and determined that she may have just sprained it so I put her on kennel rest and it just never got any better. So we went to our vet and they referred us to The Cove with Dr. Stallings where they will need to repair her CCL.

I am asking for help for this bill due to going through a divorce and it being such an expensive emergency. It breaks my heart to see my baby limping and crying in pain bc she is so young and this is not the quality of life I want for her and she is my best friend!
