Lola has been with us since she was 3½ weeks old after her mom was killed in a hit-and-run. We bottle-raised her, and she became an emotional support dog for her daddy, a veteran with PTSD and Bipolar Disorder. She lives indoors with us in a 3-bedroom apartment. Lola has severe allergies and gets homeopathic baths twice weekly to help prevent skin infections.

In late Feb 2025, we noticed a small spot on Lola’s back left paw. It grew over time, so we took her to Pflugerville Animal Hospital. Vets suspect the growth may be cancerous and recommend surgery. Sadly, Lola has no insurance to cover it. She's our beloved emotional support dog, and we’re doing all we can to get her the care she needs.
