This past summer I saw a picture of Lola on a rescue site and instantly fell in love with her. Once I read her story, I knew I wanted her in my life. She was found on the streets, weighing only 3 pounds, all matted and ended up needing all of her teeth removed and she was only 6 months. I knew that I needed her and was yes to spoil her for a long time!!!

I recently lost my other cat very unexpectedly and Rosa, my other baby was so sad! I could tell she needed someone and I knew that Lola was a perfect match for her. From the minute I brought Lola home, the two of them had an instant connection and bond. I love watching them play together, cuddle and how happy they make each other.

I lost my job in March due to COVID and I will do anything possible to make sure Lola ‘a life is saved! She deserves another chance at life!! She is too young to not fight for her.

She was recently diagnosed with FIP which is fatal. There is an experimental drug that has a huge success rate but also comes at a price for 84 days. She’s also severely anemic from fighting it and needed a blood transfusion and will mostly likely need another. She is on several supplements since this medicine is hard on her organs.

In just 4 months, Lola has already brought so much happiness and laughter to my life during a difficult time. Since she has no teeth, her little tongue is always sticking out, she’s a messy eater and I love every minute of that. It took her a long time to learn how to be a cat, play, groom, etc. You can tell she has been on the streets her whole life.
