About this campaign

Lola is a 1-year-old Dachshund. She is the most loving family member! Lola had an accident and injured her neck and can no longer walk properly. She has days where she cannot walk at all or move her neck. Unfortunately not being able to move is currently her situation. I try to make her as comfortable as possible until she can have surgery.

Lola is my best friend. She is such a loving yet sassy girl! She is small yet protects me like she is a 100lbs rottweiler. It breaks my heart that Lola is not her regular self. All she does is lay in bed all day due to being immobile. I can see in her face she just wants to be better and back to normal. Wm

I am a dental assistant who has been laid off due to the Corona Virus. I have some money saved to help with Lola's surgery but it is not enough. I am willing to drain my account to save my baby girl's life. She is not a pet in our house she is truly family.

Lola currently can not walk. She has a bone on the back of her neck that is pressing on a nerve making her not able to walk. I will be taking her Arizona veterinary specialist where they have a neurology specialist. Since the injury is on her neck and involves the spine, A specialist in pet neurology will have to perform the surgery. This also makes it very expensive.

Lola is very special to my family! She has a way of knowing you need some extra love. Even though Lola cannot walk she will wiggle her way up to your shoulder and lay her head on you while giving you puppy kisses. She also has a goofy side. But sadly we don't see that much anymore due to her injury, it breaks my heart.
