Lorenzo is a 9-month-old Sheepadoodle in Ocala, FL, who needs $2,000 for Sepsis Surgery and Treatment.

Lorenzo became a part of my family in January 2023 from a doodle rescue. After a long search, I found the right fit for my 8 1/2 year old dog, Bodhi, who has hip dysplasia. He takes Galaprant and Gabapentin daily.. B/c of Lorenzo Bodhi is doing remarkably better and so am I. He's become so loved that I cannot imagine him not in my little family.

Lorenzo is the sweetest dog. A little codependent but he's a light to all who encounter him. He's even stolen the hearts of his ICU team. He's silly, a little hard headed but so endearing that even that is adorable. Again, cannot imagine life without him, especially not at only 9 months of age.

He is pure love. Wants nothing but to be loved, play with Bodhi, cuddle with me. He loves to throw and retrieve his favorite stick. Sometimes he and Bodhi will both hold onto it and run around the backyard together with it. It's really funny to watch them. A reason to smile every day and that's everything!

Lorenzo had an intestinal blockage. A local vet did surgery, bably. As a result, Enzo became critical with sepsis. He's now at a specialty hospital. They performed another surgery. Since then, he's been receiving life saving care. His odds of survival are up from 10% to 40%. He wants to live! The costs are exorbitant and climbing. How tho do I put a price on his life? He's priceless.

I used to have quite an interesting life as a professional ballet dancer, then teacher. I became ill with Lupus, CKD, COPD, as well as many surgeries due to a life of ballet. Back surgery, 2 bone replacements, MRSA... Now I'm on SSDI/medicad. I hate that but grateful for it.
