About this campaign
Not My Cat Rescue has had a standing relationship with a local dog rescue who would help send extra supply donations from Amazon and Costco. They would send us all the cat and farm animal products they received. At our sanctuary we also have pigs, chickens, sheep, and goats in addition to our dogs and cats. We love all our animals just the same. In fact, the farm animals also came into the sanctuary after being abandoned or owners' passing away.
Unexpectedly, we were notified by our partner rescue that they would not be receiving any more donations from Amazon and Costco, meaning neither would we! No specific reason was given to us.
Through the local rumor mill, it was said that a larger and more connected rescue in the area would now be receiving these donations. We basically confirmed this after seeing said rescue post on their Facebook the pallets of products we were all to familiar with. As a result of this, our little rescue is now struggling to keep our heads above water. We relied heavily on these donated goods. As a tiny group of women running our rescue, this donation each month was enough to fully supply our animals for weeks at a time. Now, it's a struggle to compensate for these lost items and we can no longer take in any new animals.
We are working hard to find new local donors but as of now that is still a work in progress.
