About this campaign
Lotus was adopted nearly 10 years ago at the local humane society at 8 weeks old and not quite 9 lbs. One look at her and that was all it took for her mama to fall in love.
Lotus is the heart of the home. She's an only furbaby who is very well loved. She has the two humans very well trained. She loves to play with her nummy toys. Not only does she love to get booty rubs, but she loves giving hugs.
As much as she hates water/baths, Lotus adores going outside. She says hello to everyone she meets and especially loves visiting with elderly neighbors. When inside she supervises and even argues with her mama. She even been previously registered at an emotional support dog.
Lotus suddenly has developed a urinary track issue. At first it seemed to be incontinence and she kept trying to potty even with nothing left. At an emergency vet clinic blood was noticed when she had an accident. Unfortunately the diagnostics were too much and only a urinalysis and ultrasound were done. They didn't find anything, and the antibiotics don't seem effective enough.
The costs to diagnose and treat her are way more than her mama can afford. Her mama has a spinal hernia and despite working full time it is hard to keep her head about water. It's heartbreaking to thing that money could stand in the way of helping this pup.
