We got our boy 6 years ago. We had to return a dog back to the rescue because he was a one animal kind of dog, and we have cats and another dog, so… On Mother's day, I took him back, in tears. After leaving there, we went to Pet Smart. Walking through the door, my daughter sees a woman with a buggy full of kittens, Louie stood out. She said he looked like a little bat. The rest is history!

Louie is a laid back kind of cat, he gets along with his kitty family, and his doggy brother and sister! We all love Louie and he loves us. He sleeps in the hallway, or in the kitchen, sometimes on the kitchen table! He also loves to snuggle with us. He enjoys time with my daughter when she hangs out on the back deck!

Louie is our little vampire! He has the two fangs peeking out over his bottom lip. One quirky thing he does is lick concrete, like the sidewalk, or the wood on the deck. Don't know why but he likes to do it. When you hold him in your arms, he just relaxes and lays back, not so much a squirmy worm. Just a chill little guy! The sweetest boy! Even though he has IV fluid everyday!

Back , Louie was having trouble using his back legs. After a few days of wobbly walking, he got to where he would stumble, or just collapse, we took him to the first Emergency vet. They did an x-ray, saw that his Kidneys were enlarged, and he had stones. Diagnosed w/ Chronic Kidney Decease by 3rd and current Vet (CareFirst Animal Hospital Oberlin). Has IV Fluid and Prednisone daily, & doing well

We are on a fixed income and COVID made things much worse. This Vet deserves to be paid, she's great w/ Louie. She would not give up when the other vets did not give us much hope. We just do not have the money. It would mean the world to us to keep his IVs going. Help!
