Louie is a 9-year-old Dachshund in Fayetteville , AR, who needs $2,000 for Surgery.

Louie was a Christmas gift to me from my mom. I was working one night at the salon the day before thanksgiving. And she goes your Christmas gift came in early. So she came to the store and when I opened the box there he was. I got him when he was 6 weeks old. He is my best friend and always so exited to see me when I get home.

He loves to sleep next to me when it’s bedtime. And I have a king size bed and he is always right next to me. He loves to go on rides and go to the park. He always likes to hang out in my shoulders. He’s done that since he was a puppy. He does not like mail clippings. He gets along with everyone in my family.

I can’t go anyone in my apartment without him following me. He especially hangs out when I’m cooking so he can catch the droppings. I could be laying in bed and look over at him and he just looks at me and smiles. He has been there for me through the ups and down. He helped me during some dark times and saved my life.

So he started to get this little bump and it didn’t bother him. So after while I noticing it started getting bigger so I took him to the vet. They believe it’s cellulitis. They did some blood work and couldn’t find any cancer cells. But they tried to give him medication to help heal it but those didn’t work. So our next option is surgery to remove it.

So I’m currently the only person working to provide anything. The job I’m at has not given us a pay raise in over 5 years. I’m the only person providing for the family. I can’t get a credit card because my credit is not the best.
