Louie is a 3 year old Boxer in Morgantown , WV, who needs $850 for Treatment for Stomach Issues.

We got Louie in 2021 when he was just 8 weeks old. He has 3 human brothers, 1 dog brother and 1 dog sister…and he loves ALL of them! He came from a large litter out of Preston County. We didn’t think we needed him but he needed us!

Currently Louie is facing some unknown stomach issues. He has been throwing up since Saturday, can’t go to the bathroom and refuses to eat. He’s also very lethargic. He has had X-rays and bloodwork done. The X-rays do not show an obvious obstruction and his bloodwork was good minus signs of dehydration. He is receiving treatment at Hillcrest Animal Hospital by Dr. Polluck.

Since we got Louie, he has provided us so much joy and laughter. You can never stay mad at his little snaggle tooth face. He thinks he’s a lap dog and wants nothing but love 24/7, he doesn’t have a mean bone in his body!

This was a very unexpected event for us and we do not have an emergency fund as we are a one income family right now. If this treatment doesn’t work he will need exploratory surgery.
