About this campaign
Louie is our 2-year-old French Bulldog and a deeply loved part of our family. He lives at home with us and our children, who are very attached to him and see him as part of their everyday comfort and routine. He has become such an important source of companionship, love, and happiness in our home.
Louie is facing serious medical challenges including suspected IVDD causing weakness in his back legs, pain, and mobility issues, along with recent and serious breathing complications. He urgently needs advanced imaging and spinal surgery through MN Veterinary Neurology to prevent his condition from worsening and give him back mobility and function in all of his legs.
Louie is affectionate, playful & deeply bonded with our family, especially his kids who are very attached to him and rely on his constant presence. Though never formally trained as a support animal, he naturally fit into that role and provides support to all of us during stressful times. He is woven into our daily routines and sense of stability, and his absence is something terrifying to consider
Louie urgently needs an MRI, medications, and likely spinal surgery. With housing issues, increased rent, and my fiancé starting a new job, these costs are beyond what our family can manage alone and he has a good prognosis with surgery so euthanasia isn’t an option! ❤️
