My name is Lewis Little, named after my big brother Stewart Little. I was brought into my current family by my hooman dad. He rescued me from a place that I was left outside all alone every day and night at only 5 weeks old. Only the little people would come to me but they would chase me with sticks and hit me with them. I hid under that house, but now I have the best hooman dad ever! He LOVES me!

When my dad got me from that the not nice people, I was so sad and scared of everything. My dad brought me inside and I got to sleep on a real bed! It was the first night I had ever done that, and I get to sleep with my dad and big brother EVERY night. I do not hold grudges and am the sweetest boy. I love going bye bye, ball, my bed, brother, dad,& grandparents! I kiss everyone and love snuggling.

Even though I am not scared of people anymore, I am so scared of the broom, mop, & vaccuum. I hide in closets or under furniture to keep it away from me. I am never mean because I know I am safe & nothing will hurt me. My dad makes sure I am fed, with a comfy bed and I live inside of the house where it is warm in the winter & it will be cool in the summer. My big brother is my favorite playmate!

I jumped out of our car at a gas station in TN on our way home to NC. I darted to the road and a car hit me. It caused a compound fracture in my ankle. The vet said I have to have an expensive surgery to fix it or maybe lose my leg. I am fighting to be here for him like he fought for me. I am Pitt mix, so a lot of people wouldn't have helped bring me inside to start with. He did. He is my hero.
