LoveJoy is a 5-year-old Yorkie Terrier in Willingboro, NJ, who needs $2,000 for Shattered pelvis surgery .

I purchase my dog at 8 weeks from a pet shop she was the cutest smallest little thing she look like a little teacup when I first got her. Lovejoy is now five years old will be 6 in November. She comes from a loving home of a 10, 6 and 2 year old. They are very devastated to watch the pain that she's in and can't understand why she can't run and play with them anymore.

Love joy likes to sleep wherever she wants whenever she can cuddle and get herself comfortable. She has a special card blanket that she likes to sleep with at night. She's very kid friendly and she likes to run around the neighborhood messing with people but she always comes back home safe. Lovejoy has a special ball she loves to run and play with the kids with.

My financial situation is not the best, but my dog is just like having a child. I have three children of my own and if I would have to lose my Lovejoy I (we) will be devastated. We all just want that bouncing dog happy running around barking face back healthy again

On Memorial Day Lovejoy got got hit by a car and the driver continue to drive on. I rushed into the Red Bank Veterinary Hospital and that's when I was told that she had shattered pelvis and needed surgery. We are trying to get her to Maple Shade New Jersey North Star vets hospital so she can have the surgery or I'm afraid we might have to put her to sleep.

My dog is very special to us and all the neighbors know her because they know her as a dog who likes to run out the house and run around and bark at people but she's very harmless and doesn't hurt anyone. Even the neighbors smile at her when they see that she gets out and they tell her go back inside the house.
