Lovely joined our family 14 years ago after we visited our local shelter. We went just to look, but were filling out paperwork that afternoon after falling in love with Lovely. We named her Lovely, because of her gentle, friendly, and friendly nature. We have also homed our elderly relatives' four senior dogs after they couldn't care for them. My mother's 14 year old Maltese is still with us/

Lovely began having trouble eating. A visit with her primary vet revealed advanced dental issues that requires a specialist. We were referred to Animal Dental Center. A consult showed gingivitis, two cases of periodontitis, and several cases of tooth resorption. To maintain a quality of life, Lovely will need surgery to remove several teeth.

Lovely loves to be with her two and four-legged friends. If she's not watching the birds or stalking bugs in our basement, she can be found snuggled up next one of her friends. She always wants to see what we're doing and follows us around. When we're not home she sits with our 14 year old Maltese, waiting for her humans to come home. She's gentle with the littles in our family and is very social.

We are unable to afford the surgery Lovely needs. Even with credit and pay plans, we are not able to afford this. We support our two girls in college and do not have pet insurance. Our girls have grown up with Lovely, and donating would mean the world to them!
