Lovey was one of many strays at a neighborhood I used to live at. He was young and feral but I knew he was different. He'd try to love on all the other cats by rubbing on them and being so sweet, and he never got the love back from them. So I decided to catch him. I snuck him one day while he was eating, and ever since the first pet we've been inseparable. I don't have kids so he is truly my baby.

Lovey is so funny. When I'm around he acts like he's allergic to other people! If I'm at work though he would love on my boyfriend or my friend Michelle that used to stay with me sometimes. But as soon as I come home, bam- he's not interested in anybody but mom. He's so special. And spoiled. He runs the house and he knows it. He just makes everyday bearable for me.

I used to leave the window cracked so he could come in and out, I live on the lake so he's adventurous but still scared of his own farts so he doesn't go far. I stopped leaving it open because he kept bringing me "presents" and leaving them in the kitchen for me. They weren't always dead or even harmed so a mouse chase ensued a couple times! He harasses me for "cookies" sometimes. He's the best.

Lovey has had issues with blockages before. Male cats especially have a problem with this, the crystals in their urine gets trapped and clogs them up. I've had him cathetered twice over 6 years. I've noticed today that he only peed a small amount. I monitor it every day. I know it's about to be a blockage. I'll take him to B&L Animal Hospital in Batesburg SC. They always take care of him very well

Lovey and I literally just left a bad relationship. I take care of my grandma and work at an auction house. Besides my grandma he's all I've got to keep me going. He's my boy, my best friend. It would mean the world to me for some help with the catheterization cost.
