Lucas is a 15-year-old Chihuahua in Frontenac , KS, who needs $500 for Vetcillan, Syringes, Prescription Dog Food.

I wanted a new dog I had given my guide dog to friend in California to luve out her retirement years. Went to Wayside Waifs in Kansas City looked at two chihuahuas and picked Lucas. He is a senior boy over weight at 16 lbs. Evan when I got him 5 years ago he just made you feel lived and accepted. He was very calm for a chihuahua and just wanted to please you.

Lucas loves affection closeness and a good lap to sit on. He loves humans and gets along great with animals. He is very respectful of space. He alerts you when someone is at the door but when door is opened he gets excited to see the visitor and let's the visitor know he is welcome anytime.

Lucas is a very special boy he is very attentive to my ends like giving and receiving love and affection. He likes his ears scratched and his bully rubbed. He lives the warmth of a body or the sun or the fireplace. Because he is 15 years old now he lays around alot on a couch or anything g soft and fluffy. He eats anything and gets excited when food is around and always li ks his bowl clean

3 years ago Lucas wS diagnosed with sugar diabetes and daily shots would be required and me having bad eyes due to cerebral palsy that was a scarey thing for me to do and I cannot see the lines on the syringes to measure correct doses at first neighbors came to give him his shot every 12 yours but I seperated and divorced and had to give him the shots myself so I took the bull by the horn.

My situation now is moved to my hometown with Lucas thought I had a job lined up but it fell through I live in a very expensive apartment was counting on the job. With special diet, vetcillan and syringes around $500 a month. We count on each other.
