Lucian is a 5-year-old Dogue De Bordeaux in Aurora, IL, who needs $2,000 for Testing and Radiation of Tumor.

We adopted Lucian from the animal shelter 4 years ago after his owner had a stroke and couldn't care for him anymore. I was a little hesitant adopting a dog his size but when we met him at the shelter he immediately came up to me and put his big snobbery head in my lap and I fell in love with him. He has been a wonderful companion to my family and our other adopted dog Callie.

Lucian is a big cuddle bug. He loves petting , snuggling and any attention you give him. He will stop in front of you and sit on your feet until you pet him. He is a great big brother to our other dog Callie. He sits on the couch with my granddaughters and watches tv with them. He is always loving

His favorite person is my son Bill.
Bill had some serious health issues and lucian was by his side helping him through it. He loves to play but especially loves treats and belly rubs . He always seems to know when your down , he will put his head on your lap or shoulder to reassure you all will be ok.❤️

Lucian was recently diagnosed with a tumor in his nose. It hasn't spread and they need to do radiation to control the growth . He has been and is otherwise perfect health. He is being treated here in Aurora Il.
We do have more test to run first , chest x ray and ct scan which will cost approximately $ 1500. Anything will be gratefully accepted. We love him with all our heart.

We are already $6000 into this. I am a single mom and work full time. I have maxed out my care credit card on this. Lucian is such a gentle soul. He makes us feel safe just by his size but he brings such happiness to us, always a slobbering happy greet at the door ,
