Lucian is a 3-year-old Mix in Hatboro, PA, who needs $2,000 for MRI.

Lucian was adopted from Furever Yours Rescue, has 6 siblings, and has a crank shaped tail. Along with his unique tail, he also has a merle pattern, which makes him standout. Lucian was born at the end of May 2020 and was adopted by my family 6 weeks later. Since bringing him home, he has been a major part of our family and lives. He joyously greets us when we get home and loves walks!

Lucian is a very sweet, high energy and playful dog. He gets along with everyone in the house including our cat. He is very smart and easy to train, however he can be stubborn at times. Lucian loves playing with his ball and toys and runs around out back with us. When someone new comes in the house he wants to be their best friend immediately! It doesn't take long for him to accept them.

There are many special attributes about Lucian! He doesn't like water. He hides when it is time for him to get a bath, but once actually in the bath he accepts it and is calm. He is a big dog physically, but acts like a little dog often. He whines and whimpers like a puppy when he doesn't get his way. We can't even say the word "walk" without him getting excited. He then runs for his lease.

In January, late at night we awoke to Lucian convulsing in a seizure. We took him to a local animal hospital for observation. Unfortunately he has had multiple seizures since. He is epileptic, but we do not know the root causes and further work like an MRI could determine his condition further (especially if it is a tumor). He has been going to Hickory Animal Hospital in Plymouth Meeting PA.

Because of Lucian's condition we have depleted savings and have acquired debt, which leaves us in the position that in a life threatening situation we would be unable, financially, to save his life. With your help we can give him the care he needs and do further testing.
