Lucic (LOO-cheech), a.k.a. Kittykins, was left out in a blizzard. I first spotted him standing in a snowbank, freezing his little murder mittens off. I'd never owned a cat before, but I took him in, saving him from the snowplow and sub-zero temps . He's been my best friend for the past 10 years. He's a spirited, vocal, and cuddly "orange cat" and my only fur-child. He is my greatest joy.

Lucic is having trouble breathing, has lost his sense of smell (so I must spoon-feed him), & has been battling a respiratory infection. The vet thinks he has a polyp, which could be removed to make him better. That requires a costly rhinoscopy (& maybe an endoscopy) at VSC Sturbridge. Looch has FIV from when he was a stray & has hyperthyroidism. But he can live a good life with the polyp removed.

Looch loves to hit ping pong balls and sparkly balls around the apartment. He "bird watches" from inside, loves his hidey tunnel, and will lie on his back for tummy pats. He's a snuggler and a very social kitty who likes to be near me all the time. He makes me laugh with his silly antics and mischief. I think he's purrrrrrfect! I love him with all my heart.
