About this campaign

We found Lucky as a stray on a neighbors property. The puppies were all taken in and the mother didn't want to be caught. Our hearts went out to Lucky and we kept him. We've given him the meds and shots he needed and were able to get him in to we the vet. The vet would like to just remove the paw that's hanging but will consider full amputation if necessary. We want whatever helps him live well.

While we are of the mind that full amputation would be the best and easiest route the vet thinks there's a chance to save some of the leg for balance. She did say shed be able to better determine during surgery. She had good reasoning and were behind he decisions. Ferry Farm Animal Clinic provided us with the Xrays, diagnosis and solutions.

From the moment we found Lucky he ran towards us while us mom and brother ran away! He was so happy and excited! He immediately wants belly rubs from anyone he comes in contact with. He's done so well with the transition from stray to house puppy. Hes a puppy and he's a lot but still does well with other dogs.

The main source if income in the house is my sister who works at the post office. But with cancer herself a partially disabled mother autistic brother and a 12 year old son if doesn't always stretch. Im here to make everyone's lives easier.
