Lucky is a 9-year-old Min Pin in Hudson, FL, who needs $550 for Wound Treatments.

This was my 82 yr old husbands companion pet. My husband passed away May 2021 From Congestive Heart Failure. Lucky was adopted from the rescue RU4Me Pet Rescue in Boynton Beach FL after my husbands last Min Pin Passed away from old age. Lucky is 9 years old. He lives with me in my 55+ villa. Lucky has open swollen non healing ulcerated knots on his hind leg and hip. He is in terrible pain. Help.😢

Lucky lives indoors. Only going out on a leash. He sleeps with me. He loves to go for car rides. And, short walks. He misses his daddy and has befriended a man who lives next door. Now that he has open raw swollen wounds that cause his severe pain, he has became very irritable. He cannot sleep due to the pain I am a widowed senior who only has SS income and cannot afford a vet bill for surgery.

Lucky is afraid of thunder storms and high winds. He runs to me for protection. He loves to lay upsid down and have me rub his belly. He used to love to run and play until the open raw non healing wounds appeared on his leg and hip. He has multiple tumors on his body also but they don’t appear to cause him pain. He can no longer run due to the raw wounds on his leg.

I have taken Lucky to Paws Vet Clinic in Port Richey. They said they would need to scrape tissue from the swollen open wounds to examine the tissue. I couldn’t afford the procedure so they prescribed Rimidyl. Then Gabapentin to help with pain. But, he didn’t get pain relief. The next step is to take tissue samples. I cannot afford to have that procedure done. I need help. His pain is bad.

Widowed Senior with no other income other than Widows Social Security. I have no savings. My husband died without life insurance. I’m begging for help for Lucky. It breaks my heart to see him suffering and I have no financial means to help him.
