My Lucky was brought into my life by adoption. Lucky had been rescued in the woods. He was left there to die. When taken to the vet by the man that found him. They discovered how sick he really was. He had mange and had every parasite known to man. He was barely hanging on to his own life. The man got him healthy and I then adopted him. He’s now my very best friend.

Lucky had gotten really sick again while I had him. He was treated and healed from that. Now Lucky has heart worms. He’s such an amazing fighter. No matter what he goes through he fights to get better. I took him to the vet yesterday. I need to come up with another $1,000. I paid $500. yesterday. I took him to High Ridge Animal Hospital. That’s how he was diagnosed.

He continues to bring me joy even when he’s sick. He loves his snuggle time. And truthfully he would stay snuggled up on my lap all day, if I sat there long enough. He loves to go on walks. He never meets a stranger. He has so much love for everyone. He deserves to live a healthy life.

I was laid off. I am currently back to work . It’s been playing catch up for months. And I just don’t have enough money for his treatment. I used part of my rent money while we were at the vet yesterday.
