Lucky is a 4-year-old Mix in Magnolia, TX, who needs $2,000 for Hospitalization, Emergency Care, and Heartworm Treatment.

Lucky was found unresponsive under a tree. D&A Rescue saw a Facebook post regarding Lucky and knew they had to help this poor dog who had been stuck there for hours.

D&A Rescue found Lucky emaciated and extremely weak and seemed to have lost all will to live. They rushed Lucky to an emergency room so he could receive the critical care he clearly needed.

Lucky was admitted to an emergency veterinary clinic and hospitalized for several days. After many tests, it was determined he had suffered a severe brain injury.

Lucky was unstable for a few days, but is now slowly making improvements. He is starting to eat on his own and walk for a few minutes at a time. Despite this progress, he has a long road ahead. Lucky weighs half of what he should, still struggles to walk, and is heartworm positive.

D&A is a small organization with limited funds, but this didn't stop them from helping Lucky in his time of need. Lucky's emergency care was extremely expensive and he will require many more veterinary visits. Please consider donating to help give Lucky the life he deserves!
