Hello! Lucky was purchased from a small breeder in southern Illinois. The Mountain View Cur is a breed for small game hunting. Lucky, however was raised as a pup to a gift to my eight year old. The breed is extremely loyal and protective. Something we didn't expect from the breed itself its intelligence and the ability to show feeling and emotions.

Lucky is and has always been part of the family. In the beginning he wanted to assert himself up as the pack ladder. So, he had to go through some training and it helped all of us. The great thing about him is that you could never lose him, Even with his leash off he will never go more than 20 feet and never out of eyesight.

He used to hike in his younger years, we hit trails all over the state of California. He was the perfect road trip buddy, he never complained once! A true adventurer. Look at his pic! So cute! He's happy when he is feeling good. Always there when you need company, a good protector and friend. It sucks they don't live longer.

My pet and companion has dental work to be needed, aswell as medication for his pain. He needs exams, x-rays, most likely two teeth removed, pain medicine and antibiotics.
