About this campaign

This beautiful orange Tabby came into our lives last week. He had been hiding out in an old feral shack behind our house. We rescue our kitties and they stay with us for Life. He would come over to eat from the communal bowl outside, when we noticed he was hurt, with bone showing in his back paw and crushed foot. There were maggots in there, we treated him & gave him care and love. Sweet Baby

We took him for xrays at the Vet. She said he needed his leg amputated. We have made him comfortable and trying to find an option . He has a little house and he has love and care. He was starving, so we have been fattening him up. He is so happy to be alive and fed and out of the wild. We don't know how he got in this condition, but we want to get him well and give him a home.

He hasn't had much of a life yet to develop any little behaviors yet. He has been in too much pain, fear and starving... on the run .. poor baby. He is very loving. He kisses my ear and looks at us so lovingly. A deep and precious Love. He is such a treasure .

This is an emergency situation, since he needs the amputation by next week. We were hoping and praying he wouldn't lose his leg. But the veterinary hospital says his paw is rotting and this is a must. He also has most of the bone showing along his upper leg. It is really sad. We are determined to help him get through this.

I am on a fixed income, disabled and retired. The surgery and meds , along with neutering this little 3 month old baby is expensive. We seriously need help to get this done. We will care for him after surgery also and for the rest of his life. We love him.
