Our Lucy Anna came into our life on October 8, 2013. She was the runt out of a litter of six. From day 1 she's always done things a little different. Her mother was a rescue and so was her father. From two months old she has been attached to her Mawmaw and pawpaws hip. She used to go everywhere with us until she began to get nervous from riding. Her nickname is Lootie.

Lucy has tumors in her breasts that need to be removed. The vet wants to do a complete mastectomy on her. Lucy was never fixed because we knew she'd never be exposed to male dogs and she had terrible separation anxiety, so ignorantly I thought she didn't need to be fixed. I didn't know that it could cause tumors. They're going to fix her while she's having the tumors removed so it won't be an issue.

Our Lucy was our very first Grandtater. She got here and made me a mawmaw and my husband a pawpaw. When our first human grantater arrived she has doted on him since she laid eyes on him. She is a caregiver. She is always making sure we're ok and if anything is ever wrong she is the first to come see how she can make it better. She is hilarious and we love her more than we can even describe.

Unfortunately, we just don't have the money or the credit to get the surgery done. My husband is the provider and he went down in Nov thru Jan and had to have several surgeries and our credit was heavily hit in that time. We are still trying to catch up while surviving.
