Lucy is a 9-year-old Chihuahua Mix in Bellevue, WA, who needs $2,000 for Ultrasound and Cholecystectomy.

I’ve had lucy for almost 9 years, I adopted her from paws animal shelter for a companion animal for my other dog to have back when he was alive so that he could have a doggy friend to grow old with. With out knowing it she was also a companion animal for my household as well. Originally, her name was Dixie but I renamed her Lucy as I am an I love lucy fan and love Lucille Ball.

She’s loves being anywhere I am at or where her new brother Rickey is at, her favorite spot to sleep is by me or sharing a spot on her dog bed bed besides her brother. She loves people and anyone she meets loves her. She loves going to the dog park and socializing with all the dogs that show up and basically anytime she gets to go exploring is the best time for her.

She’s my best friend and always there for me, she has her best friend tico, who is a little yorkie who she is absolutely enamored with, she loves how he’s small just like her and super friendly, a dog that she really leaned on when our other dog passed away, I think her gift of bringing everyone in with her bright demeanor is something I admire about her most.

I am highly interested in fixing her current medical issues but also getting any necessary care that she needs for what she’s dealing with at the current moment, currently it looks like she’s having some gallbladder issues and might need a removal surgery to fix things and also would need an extra ultrasound so help with that would be highly appreciated

It would mean the world to me to have my best friend feeling like her again. I don’t want to lose my baby!! Right now with my family being in low income it’s hard to be able to afford a lot of these high expenses so getting help would be tremendous!
