Lucy is a 1-year-old Puggle in Ferndale , WA, who needs $2,000 for eye removal.

We have had Lucy since she was 6 weeks old we rescued her and her 6 siblings from a garbage bag someone threw out their window the man in front us was driving a truck and he chucked a bag out the window I told my friend hey turn around and the bag was left in a ditch and we opened the bag and there were 6 little brand new puggle pups in the bag. Lucy was the runt and only female so we saved her

We saved her life and the rest of the puppies lives. Our dog means so much to our 8 kids she sleeps on their heads at night and she has been my therapy animal for panic attacks I have suffered from for 20 years she means the world to us and the kids would be so devastated without her our little kids are ages 2,3,5 and Lucy has grown up around them.

This would mean the world to the kids they don’t want us to have to surrender her to the humane society because we can’t afford to get her surgery done. The kids would be so heart broken so we are hoping that someone out there would give this great blessing to our family.

Our family has been deeply impacted by covid with also a death in our family we came back after being gone for 2 days and our older sons who were caretaking the house and animals found Lucy in a corner in the basement with her eye ball hanging out of her socket. We rushed her to the pet ER and was told the surgical removal of her eye. We are a family of 10 we can’t do this

Lucy is the best little dog on the planet she is loving caring and such a joy she loves to run on the beach and play with the kids she loves to travel and see new things she plays well with other dogs at the dog park and when Someone is hurt or crying or sad Lucy is right there laying next to your neck to make sure your ok
