Lucy is a 2 year old Australian Shepherd in Garrett, IN, who needs $2,000 for Neurological Testing.

Our sweet girl came to us when she was 5wks old. Mom stopped producing milk for the litter so we took her early and she has been Our baby ever since. She came into my life when I was struggling during a difficult time. I don't know what I would do without her. She's the sweetest, sassiest, smartest, goofiest, and most loving dog ever. We named her Lucy after "I LOVE LUCY " because she's a Red Tri.

About 7-8 months ago Lucy started having seizures and was diagnosed with Epilepsy. Since then, they have progressively gotten worse. Just recently she had 7 seizures within 12hrs. We had to take her to the emergency vet where they strongly recommended she sees a Neurologist at VCA Advanced Veterinary Care Center 2hrs away in Fishers Indiana.

Lucy is such a special part of our family. I don't want her to have a shortened life span because we can't afford to take her to a Neurologist. She deserves to live a long and happy life. I want to be there for her like she has been for me. She's such a special and important part of ours lives, we love her so much. We're hoping to get her the medical care she needs.

Lucy is already on two different seizure medications at strong doses. The medications are expensive because we don't have pet insurance and can't afford it unfortunately. We have one other Australian Shepherd that we rescued and 2 cats as well.
