Lucy is a 10 year old Beagle in Marlton, NJ, who needs $2,000 for Outer Ear Ablation.

Lucy’s young owner passed away unexpectedly and desperately needs someone to help relieve her suffering. I am trying to take care of her now as I know she would not have a good outcome at a shelter. I feel she deserves to live out the rest of her years happy and pain free. Although the vet states her condition is very uncomfortable she still wants to be loved and wags her tail all the time.

Lucy was seen by a primary veterinarian for her ear mass and was given oral antibiotics and ear drops for a chronic ear infection. Since this did not resolve her condition, the vet stated she needed an outer ear ablation and they could not perform that surgery. She was referred to North Star Animal Hospital in Maple Shade, NJ. Sadly the surgeon stated the costs was extremely high.

Lucy is a very friendly and happy dog. She never starts any trouble with other dogs and always follows directions. She has a big heart and just wants to love you.

I am on a fixed income as I have lost my job and cannot afford the surgery. I have one other dog to feed and care for as well. It would be appreciated so much to have any financial help possible so that Lucy can no longer suffer.
