Lucy is a 1-year-old Siamese in Montgomery, TX, who needs $1,500 for Broken leg.

This sweet girl found me. She came up to me, meowing and whimpering, limping. I couldn't leave her where she was...she quickly stole my heart and my boyfriend's heart and our son loves her. Her leg is broken unfortunately and is not able to play the way she wants to. She doesn't seem to be shy in any way.

She loves my 20 month old son. She nozzles him and sleeps with him when he falls asleep on the couch. She wants so badly to run after him and play with him. He definitely has taken to my boyfriend more and lays with him all night purring. She follows me around everywhere during the day and lays at my feet since she can't jump.

My boyfriend and I have been living paycheck to paycheck. We were finally able to save some money back but with COVID-19, me needing 3 root canals and crowns and my dad being diagnosed with stage 4 cancer, it has been a rough time financially.

When I took her to the hospital I thought her hind leg was dislocated. It turns out her chin bone is broken in 2 places and is causing extreme pain. I don't know how it happened or how long it's been that way... this girl is so sweet and loving and I can't bear to see her in pain. Sunset Animal Hospital in Houston TX is treating her, I'm not sure the vet.

We have not had her that long and are still learning about our little fur ball but she loves to talk to us. She watches us talk and wants to be the center of attention always! She is SO loving and cuddly. I feel once she is mobile enough her personality will shine brighter as she will be able to be herself 100 percent.
