About this campaign
Lucy was rescued from shelter, upon bringing her home I had just learn that my boyfriend had lost a man he served with overseas in marines to suicide. With being said when she come from that moment on her and have bonded such a connection. She is now his certified ESA animal. She needs him just as much as he needs her especially at this time when he is very sick with what could possibly be cancer
She loves carrots and ice cubes. She loves bathing her brother although sometimes he don’t lol. Brandon is working very hard with her on catching Cheerios off her nose and they are very close to achieving it. She is a very loving girl who means the world to us, and needs to be home with her family.
This will mean so much to us if we get the help to pay for her medical bill. We both have jobs but it’s all going to pay bills and essentials around the house. I also have 2 kids I support on my own being single mom. This hit us at a very bad time with corona and all.
Lucy is having emergency surgery at Stonyridge veterinary hospital in Troy Ohio bc she has a carpet string wrapped around her intestines that is threatening her life. Please find it in your heart to help out a marine veteran who needs his companion back with him as he goes through his treatments.
She is very special to me and my kids but more importantly special to Brandon. She is his ESA but also his best friend. She goes everywhere with him that she can. Brandon is a USMC combat veteran who suffers with extreme PTSD and without her he would just be so heartbroken, especially now that he is facing chemo treatments. He very so much needs her an she needs us.
