Lucy is a 3 year old French Bulldog in Virginia Beach, VA, who needs $2,000 for MRI/CT Scan.

We adopted Lucy in 2021, and have been in love with her since. The kids and I immediately bonded with her and her spunky personality. She is the only dog we have, but she isn't just a dog to us, she is an important part of our family, it is like having a fourth child.

Lucy is currently being treated/monitored by Southeast Veterinary Neurology for intervertebral disc disease (IVDD). As of 8/13/2024 she is on pain medication for life, at the young age of 3, it is either that our surgery. It is hard to see her in pain because even on the pain medication she is having a hard time having a good quality of life. The next step would be surgery, before this progresses

Lucy is amazing, she not only wants to be close with us everywhere we go but pre injury she slept with my son nightly in bed. Lucy loves to cuddle in your arms, lick you in the face, and play soccer with us outback [pre injury]. She is a spunky ball of energy who fits right into our family, we do everything with her; movies, board games, fires outback, she's always there with us.

I am currently going through a drawn out divorce, and working full-time and going to school full-time, I can't raise these funds on my own. Since June 2024, her care has been at least $1,000. It would mean the world to not only me but my kids to see her healthy again
