Lucy is a 13 year old Mix-Breed in WAPATO, WA, who needs $3,000 for Splenectomy.

I met Lucy when she belonged to a friend of mine and she was 1 years old at the time in 2014. She immediately got excited and wanted to be close to me and give me kisses. I believe she bonded with me at that moment because even when she didn't see me for a long time she would do the exact same thing every time she did. I told my friends if she ever needed another home I would gladly take her.

Yesterday on July 30th Lucy was laying on the floor and wouldn't get up. I tried treats and showed her leash to her and neither worked. I had to lift her to her feet to get her to go potty. She stumbled a couple of times and walked really slowly. The Emergency Vet said she has a mass on her spleen that is letting too much blood in her system and it makes her sick. It has to be removed soon.

She is there most loving dog I've ever met. She never growls or barks at anyone. My new born niece was here earlier this week and Lucy was interested in her and sniffed her and that was it. She came into my life as a re home and had been with me since 2020. She is my emotional support dog and I call her my Everything. When I'm depressed she's they're. When I'm upset she's there. I love her so much

We just moved to Washington state from Atlanta GA after I had a divorce. We drove 6 days across the country to live with family. I am staying with my niece and staying over. I can't afford her surgery right now. She is my reason to keep going. She deserves the best life.
