Luhvlee is a Dalmatian puppy in Amsterdam, NY, who needs $2,000 for urgent leg surgery.

When you have a puppy, disaster can strike in one second. That's what happened to Nancy M., the human mom to Luhvlee, and now they need help quickly!
"Luhvlee jumped out a car window unexpectedly," Nancy tells Waggle. "She almost got hit by a car but thank God a bystander stopped traffic and stayed with her until we were able to come back for her."

Their next stop was the animal hospital, where X-rays revealed Luhvlee has a tibial fracture in her leg and needs surgery at Upstate Veterinary Specialties to fix it. Nancy, a single mom with two kids and two dogs can't cover the entire surgery cost. She and her 16-year-old daughter, who loves Luhvlee, uploaded a Waggle campaign -- they're hoping other pet lovers will help their heartbroken family.

Until Luhvlee has the operation, she's stuck walking around in a cast. Luhvlee has been miserable not being able to be the playful pup she loves to be. "Luhvlee loves attention from family, friends, and strangers," Nancy says. "That's what makes her smile, which makes us laugh. Her big smile! Luhvlee loves to bring toys to you so that you can play with her. Her favorite actives include watching 101 Dalmatians and playing fetch."
