Luka is a 9 month old American Longhair in Marydel, DE, who needs $2,000 for Mass Removal.

We rescued Luka from a shelter when he was 14 weeks old. We were looking for a new addition to our family for months, when we found out the local shelter had recieved a liter of beautiful orange babies in we went the same day. While looking at each adorable kitten Luka couldn’t stop following us around and playing with the shelter employees shoe strings. He stole our hearts right away

Luka has had a bloated extended abdomen on and off since adopting him. We initially thought it was worms we followed the treatment as recommended. Time continued and it didn’t get better we then decided to take him in for a check up not expecting the vet to diagnose him with a fatty mass between his liver and kidneys 😔. Unsure if it’s cancer we’re going to blue pearl for further testing.

Luka loves to plays fetch, he did it on his own one day while we were playing with one of his feather toys. We threw it across the room and to our surprise he ran over grabbed it in his mouth then brought it back. His favorite morning routine is to wait in front of our door for us to give him pets/cuddles. Then he will sit in front of the window to sing to his bird friends.

This is such a shock to us being that Luka is not a year old yet. He is still so young and loves life, he runs and plays with his dog sisters as if he is a healthy boy. I experienced job loss not to long ago making this situation so much harder. We want to give him a chance
