Meet Luke — A Brave Survivor Who Deserves a New Beginning

When Luke came into the care of ACF Animal Rescue, he was in the worst condition imaginable. Someone had thrown stones at him, leaving painful injuries across his body, and a rope was tied tightly around his neck — a heartbreaking sign of the cruelty he had endured.

We don’t know how long he suffered or what he went through before someone finally helped him, but we do know this: Luke never should have had to survive any of it alone. The moment he arrived, our team acted quickly to treat his wounds, ease his pain, and show him the kindness he had been denied for far too long.

In just two weeks, his transformation has begun — his wounds are healing beautifully, his spirit is lifting, and he is slowly gaining the strength he lost. With every passing day, he is learning that hands can be gentle, people can be safe, and life can be better than the world he came from. But Luke isn’t fully out of the woods yet.

He still needs continued veterinary care, follow-up treatments, proper nutrition, and time to regain both his physical health and emotional trust. His recovery is well underway, but he can’t continue this journey without support. Luke has already survived the unthinkable.
