Luke is a 3-year-old Maltipoo in Spring , TX, who needs $1,500 for broken leg - assumed.

I've had Luke since he was a pup. He's is an indoor pet and is very friendly. It's just Luke and myself. We enjoy each others company very much. He loves running around at the dog park and will go up to everyone to be pet. He is well trained and knows how to give high fives, fist bumps and shake hands.

It's only Luke and myself at home. When we do have visitors he gets beyond excited. He runs around the coffee table in circles, jumps up on visitors and just wants everyone's attention. He's like this for somewhere between 15-30 minutes. During that time it's like he doesnt even know i exist lol. He has lots of love to give.

Luke is special to me because he's my best friend. He's always happy and playful. I enjoy watching him play with his toys while he rolls around on the ground with them growling. I just know he's having a blast. I would like to see him get back to doing that as soon as possible. I miss him being the fun energetic dog that he is.

At first I believed that Luke sprained his leg since he was only walking on three legs. Now I believe it may be broken. It dangles and moves side to side when he's walking. He's not as energetic as he normally would be. He just lays around all day and has a sad look :(. I try to pet him and lift his spirits which works for a while but then he goes back to looking depressed.

I've been in a downward spiral of bad luck recently. I lost my job, now have a major auto expense and most recently Luke appears to have a broken leg. I am desperate at this point and anything would help.
