Luke is a 9-year-old Domestic Longhair Cat in Upland, CA, who needs $2,000 for Femoral Head Ostectomy.

Luke is my rescue cat. I rescued him and his sister back in October 2022 and we’ve been an amazing family ever since. His sister gave birth to 6 kittens in April. We gave 3 away and we have 3 now. In total we have 5 beautiful kitties that I’m glad to call “family”. Luke is the most dear to my heart.

Luke not only have beautiful features, but also is a beautiful soul and a very calm personality. He likes to go out in the backyard and have fun with his other cat friends. He is very friendly to the kittens we have and they all like to sleep laying on him. He likes it most when I pet him and when I sing to him “you are my sunshine, my only sunshine, you make me happy when skies are grey..”

Luke is special in every way, but his eyes are very unique. The way he gaze at me as if his eyes are telling stories constantly very interestingly. His soul is full of love. He loves to sit on the grass and turns around like a burrito to be pet. He had a best friend white cat but unfortunately he passed away.

Luke recently dislocated his left hip. It required surgery to remove the femur head. He also had crystals in urine which they found out when they did the x ray as his bladder was full, was hard for him to pee because of that. They had to manually empty it as well as insert a catheter. His urine was bloody so he was on IV fluids to clear out and was hospitalized for 2 days at the animal hospital.

I am currently a full time unpaid dietetic intern. I had to pay $10,000 for my internship which left me on the edge. It would mean the world to me to get help with Luke’s expenses. Luke and I appreciate all the donations in advance and thank you for your time.
