Lulu is a 14-year-old Maltese/Cocker spaniel in Foster City, CA, who needs $2,000 for X-ray's and Ultrasound.

Lulu came into my life at a time where i thought she needed me most, in reality, i was the one who needed her. She had gotten parvo and was basically left to die in a dark garage until i picked her up and took her to a vet who helped me nurse her back to health. She was eternally grateful and she shows it everyday, she is loving, loyal and obedient.

Lulu is the most important part of my partner and my day. She loves to play fetch, loves going on walks, loves car rides, and especially loves to meet other dogs. She has always been so attached to me but also has a newfound bond with my partner. She loves to lie in bed with us and be around us in general. We are her people as she is ours.

What makes Lulu special is that she is the kindest and humblest dog you will meet. People fall in love with her everywhere we go, she is just meek & there is peace that you feel just sitting with her. We even have friends who got pets hoping to have one just like Lulu. She is friend to all, doesn't matter who you are, she will cuddle with you & just be with you when sometimes that's all you need

Lulu has been healthy all her 14 years, up until recently. She developed a mass in her mammary gland about a year ago, that has grown significantly in the past 3 months. Today was the first time we had to take her to the ER because the pain has been so bad. She had labs done that came out normal, she does not have heart problems but the tumor has become infected which is what is causing the pain.

The expenses that i have incurred so far have already put me in a bind. What i did have saved for emergency has been exhausted already & we havent even had imaging done yet. I dont know how i will pay for that, on top of the surgery if she is eligible to have the tumor remov
