LuLu is a 12-year-old Boston Terrier in Franklin, IN, who needs $2,000 for Amputation of Left Hind Leg.

I help a senior dog rescue. I currently have 7 dogs. I check their Facebook often to see where I can help. In August of 2021 there was a picture of a Boston Terrier in a shelter just south of where I live that needed a foster due to she was a senior and not doing well in the shelter. I contacted the rescue and was on my way to break her out!

LuLu was found by Animal Control down in the middle of the road from heat exhaustion in Aug 2021. Just by looking at her you can tell she has had a rough life! She is such a fighter and has fought against all odds! She is a huge part of our family! She is loved and cared for every day! She has 6 dog brothers & sisters that have rallied around her!

When LuLu was rescued, the first vet totally "wrote her off" due to her age. The second vet would put her on meds for 2 weeks for her skin issue and then take her off which caused her issue to some right back. This prolonged her surgery to remove her mammary mass and spay. Now we are dealing with her femur fracture due to a tumor. This girl is a fighter and been through so much!

When LuLu first came to live with me she was a mess! She had a terrible skin issue and she had a mammary mass due to never being fixed. After multiple vets and trying to get her skin issue cleared up a year later (this past Aug) LuLu's mammary mass was removed and she was spayed. Two weeks ago LuLu stopped walking on her back leg and we found out her femur was broke due to a tumor in her bone.

When we found out the news about her tumor in the femur causing it to break, we had to make the choice whether or not to let her go or fight. We chose to fight and the vet agreed. LuLu's left hind leg is being amputated. This is a huge hit financially!
