Luna is a 8 year old Mix-Breed in Birmingham, AL, who needs $6,000 for Emergency Care After a Dog Attack.

I got Luna from a foster care about 8 years ago, she was rescued from the street of Houston, Texas when she was less then 2 months old. She came with the name Luna so I just kept it, but I do call her lots of different nicknames and Loony fits her personality, she is always goofing around.

On July 30th she was attacked by a dog while I was in WI visiting my mom. I had to rush her to the emergency vet in Madison, WI. They did a great job from the start, they rushed to her right as I walked in thr door and there was someone always right by her side through it all. She had multiple bite wounds, a few required drips, loss a tooth and fractured a bone in her back leg.

Her favorite things are chasing a tennis ball, relaxing with her senior sister dog Bella(11) and playing chase with her younger brother dog Goose(2). She loves everyone as long as they throw the tennis ball. She is my best friend and follows me everywhere even if it is 10 feet away to the kitchen.

This was unexpected while I was on vacation. The extent of the injuries required me to go to the emergency vet, which cost almost $6000 which I didn't have but made work. The most important thing to me is her, her health, and having my best friend be ok.
