About this campaign
I received Luna Boona from my girlfriend her son was not capable of taking care of her. I got her spayed and she licked her stitches open. She chewed through her cone of shame. Licked her stitches open by the time we got to the vet her intestines fell out. They saved her life and I’m very grateful.
Luna lives out in chaparral NM. With about 2 acres to roam and play. She lives with 4 humans and one best dog friend. She loves to hunt and keep the coyotes away from the land. When I come home she’s happy to see me and ready for cuddles and play. We start off with a belly rub then on to a game of tug of war.
My company closed down due to COVID. I work at the El Paso convention center and I’m receiving unemployment which is about 400 a month. To revive help means I would be able to provide food for her, pay her hospital bills, and her medication. Losing a best friend hurts
Luna boona was treated at pets n hooves hospital. I took her in to get spayed and a week into it she licked her stitches open. We made it to the hospital in time. As soon as we arrived her stomach opened up and her intestines fell out. 1 minute later she was on the operating table. The doctor explained that she was going to be hospitalized for 3 days and under strict observation.
Since the first time we met we clicked. She began to follow me everywhere I went. No leash required because she’s not aggressive with other dogs, and she stays next me for walks and runs. We like to out and explore neighborhoods and meet up with other dogs for play dates. Luna is very good with kids and loves to get her belly rubbed.
