Luna is a 1-year-old Jack Russell/Poodle in Brooklyn, NY, who needs $2,000 for Foreign Body Removal Surgery.

We have had Luna since she was born. Our first dog gave birth to 5 puppies and we kept Luna and her sister Evee her siblings are all in each other life as we kept them within our family. We saved a senior dog who was being put down because her family preferred a younger dog and her name was Luna she passed away as she was 14 but we wanted to always remember her so we named our girl Luna after her.

Our baby loves to sleep on her sister they are super close and never have been apart. Her favorite walk is going down the block where her friends Rosie and Nala live they sit there and bark so there owners know my girls are there to see his girls. Her favorite time is warmer days because her brothers and sister can come play in the backyard with them.

She loves to go out for runs in the backyard she’ll run after birds and squirrels or just race with her sister. She gets zoomies at the oddest hours and she will just run and jump and bark until she tires herself fully out. She loves to lick our forehead when she lays on our head it’s the best feeling in the world.

Unfortunately our girl ate something she wasn’t suppose to eat and got sick. We took her to vetco who referred us to veterinary emergency group they tried treatment to see if that would help and when it didn’t they sent us to Blue pearl for an ultrasound that concluded she would need surgery to remove an object stuck in her intestine.

We never thought our girl would get sick like this as such a young age it was very unexpected and the bills accumulated to 10,000 in a matter of 24 hours. We need help paying this very large vet bill to get Luna back home with us and her sister.
