Luna is a 4 year old Mix-Breed in Burnsville, NC, who needs $1,000 for Leg Amputation.

December of 2023 I got Luna from my local shelter. She was 3 years old and had been at the shelter for 1 year. She lives with four other cats. She loves naps and food.

Luna started limping about 3 months ago. Brought her to Appalachian animal hospital 1 month ago. They did x-rays and found a mass in her foot that had destroyed a bone in the foot. They drew infection from the paw so we started antibiotics. 1 month later and the foot hasn't got any better. They are doing more x-rays. She will more then likely lose her leg and not just a toe.

Luna was super sweet at the shelter but once home she become a grumpy cat. She doesn't play with the other cats but does like to sit with her humans. She had a doggy friend she would sleep with but he just past away.

I am going through a divorce and have had my retail job cut hours back for everyone. Car problems have also been an issue but trying to get back on my feet.
