Luna came into our lives after her first family gave her up just days after purchasing her from a breeder. She was shy at first, but soon opened up into a bubbly, energetic bundle of love. Unfortunately, a grade school aged child decided to flip Luna like a toy, fracturing her leg. We paid $1032 at an emergency clinic on anesthesia, radiology / imaging, and costs related to splinting & casting

Luna is a dog who doesn't realize she is a dog! She is a very picky eater, only eating fresh meats and meals. She is even shying away from her water bowl, and will retrieve a bottled water from our pantry, chew holes into it and drink from the bottle! She is special, and has a unique bond with each of our children.

My remote job let me go back in January, and with six children at home, and a pup, finding a new remote line of work has not been easy. Pet insurance wont cover a preexisting condition and Luna is too sweet of a dog to watch suffer in pain due to lack of financial support

Even after a trip to Pender Emergency Veterinary Clinic, being left overnight for treatment, casting for six weeks, etc, Luna is still, six months later, is left unable to walk on her leg. Keeping her leg up at all times with no pressure whatsoever. Without treatment, they will have to amputate her leg altogether.

Pomsky's like Luna have a unique presonality like no other. She is very silly, and loves attention. When she does something wrong, she will run to another family member and sit by their leg. Finding someone to go to bat for her. She steals our tot's stuffed animals, and as we found, apparently enjoys the fluff inside as a snack from time to time!
