About this campaign

Luna was rescued in December. She was the one the moment my husband and I saw her. We already had 2 rescues ( a puppy mill sire who was going to be put down due to undesirable litters and a feral 3 week old runt kitten who had been abandoned by mama)were looking for a 3rd baby to rescue and train as a psychiatric service dog for my disabled husband who is a veteran.

I lost my income in Jan. We were told Luna was UTD on all shots. In Feb we noticed she had a funny left paw as if it had been broken, in Apr we noticed she was prone to ear infections& diarrhea. We called her former owners for vet references and they blocked us. 3 days ago she started get loose stools today it has been straight diarrhea. We don't qualify for care credit due to income. We are 💔

Luna has been the sweetest baby since she arrived. She has formed a special bond with her brothers ,our rescues Gulliver and Mr. Meow-gi. She has helped Daddy with hisPTSD and quickly learned to comfort him and she is mommy's girl and light of my eyes.

My husband is a disabled vet who's PTSD ended his OTR trucking career in 2023. I was disabled and went back to work part time from home and due to this SSA determined I was no longer disabled. My benefits were 3 days after getting Luna. Leaving us in the air financially.
