About this campaign

In 2021, I made the difficult decision to rehome Luna, hoping she had found a loving forever home. On July 23, 2026, I was alerted that Luna had been found wandering 23 miles away, narrowly avoiding traffic. I immediately went to get her. After days with no one coming forward, I learned her microchip had never been updated. There was no way to reach her owners. Luna had been left completely alone.

Luna had glaucoma and lens subluxation. The damage cannot be reversed. Cumming Veterinary Clinic has recommended enucleation—removing the affected eye—to relieve her pain and give Luna the quality of life she deserves.

Despite everything she’s been through, Luna remains loving, loyal, and full of life. Even in pain, she still loves walks, cuddles, treats, and loves attention. She deserves to spend her senior years comfortable, loved, and pain-free. Euthanasia shouldn’t be the only option when Luna still has so much life and love to give.

As a single mother of a 7-year-old and a newborn, I simply cannot afford Luna’s surgery on my own. I’m asking for your help to give her the care she desperately needs. Luna deserves a chance in life.
