About this campaign
Luna came into our life through our daughter. Our daughter got Luna when she was n college as a companion. When our daughter move back home, Luna took to the house and she stayed with us while our daughter moved around due to her job. Sadly, our daughter unexpectedly passed away on December 10, 2022.
Luna is the comedian in the house. She’s a sweet girl with a lot of personality! She loves people and tolerates the dogs. She loves to climb, the higher the better and destroying wrapping paper, Christmas trees is her favorite pastime. She is also the great moth hunter and boogycat under the bed who attacks toes! She loves to destroy any ability to make a bed or put a tablecloth on.
Luna loves to hide then jump out at whom ever walks by freaking people out. Then she’ll take off running in the opposite direction as if the devil is chasing her! Halloween is one of her favorite holidays, with all the kids inning around she likes to zoom back and forth on the front porch scaring the kids! Christmas you can find her destroying the Xmas tree or attacking the presents
Luna dislocated her right rear hock severely and our only 2 options is either a really expensive surgery ($10,000) or amputation of the whole leg. The surgery is called Arthrodesis: Tibial Tarsal with a bone graft autologous and Micro Fix in Plate.
We are still recovering from the expense of our daughters funeral and all of the expenses involved when a single person passes away. We are both self employed and pay heavily in taxes every year. Luna is our world and a direct connection to our only child who has passed on
