Luna came into my family when she was a few months old. She was given to me by my daughter-in-law's mother that could no longer care for her. We chose her to come and become a part of our family. Her given name was from her previous owner and kept it. She has grown up with my granddaughter that is the same age.

Luna enjoys the outdoors, walking, hiking, and running. She sleeps most of the time and is well-trained in going potty. She loves the lake but won't go into it, the fresh air in her hair. She's not much of a fan when it comes to long drives, they exhaust her and make her nauseous. Snacks are always a good reward for her and knows when she will get one.

Luna just found a friend she gets along with, my son's dog, Rider. That was her first love. They have become friends for the last few months. Since she is a loner, it's hard for her to accept that she can't only get cuddles. She protects me and barks up a storm. She is a happy dog, brings so much joy to me when I get home from work, and greets me with her warm jumps and licks.

On June 1, Luna went through the trash while we were away at work and accidentally ate chicken bones. The Dr. doesn't know if that's the real issue why she's not feeling well but, needs care and I require assistance from all my animal lovers. She has been in really good shape until now. I have faith that she will get better in time.

Took her to the ER, June 5 and they provided IV and need to take X-Ra, and blood work and she has to stay overnight to get observed, she may be diabetic but without the resources financially, she can't be seen until we can possibly cover her expenses.
